Our company’s official name is Yucatan Maya Coast Reality S. de R.L. de C.V. It is Reality and not Realty. The authorities couldn't spell Realty so we are Reality.  Down here in the Yucatan, we live in a different reality, a Mexican and Yucatecan world very different in pace and culture from the U.S. .  We are a young company, founded in 2006, that specializes in service. Everyone expects good honest service and that is what we intend to give. We have a broad legal description which gives us the ability to do many things. Real Estate sales, rentals and property management are our first priority. We can also build, renovate, advise and provide good recommendations for plumbers, electricians, concrete workers, lawyers, notaries, and even car mechanics and painters.             

Our second priority is our charter boat ¨Reel Blessed¨ which is a 30’ Dorado.  It has been renewed and  went  through the steps to make it legal to charter here in Mexico. We are now completely ready and charter operations are underway.  We have a captain who speaks English very well and is knowledgeable and professional.  Sometimes I can go along as an extra if schedules permit.  We can carry up to 6 passengers and are required to have a crew of  2, a captain and mate, who by law are required to be Mexican.  We can fish right out in front of Progreso and have fun catching a variety of bottom fish or troll for something larger.    

I personally have been captain of a private 60’ Striker Sport fisherman based here in Progreso, Yucatan since July 1993. I know this area well and I have watched it grow over the last 14 years. Real Estate prices are on the rise here but there are still great bargains waiting to be found. The prices are still way below those in the U.S.   

The slow pace of life, beautiful weather, the wonderful Flamingo Coast, the safety and the friendly local people all combine to provide a truly beautiful place to live and enjoy the years that we have been given.
